Zachary has had a serious interest in music since he was a child. Raised on the classics like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, he was destined to have his hand in music in some way. Zachary has been performing under the moniker of Dr. Scruggs since 2010, and has worked with many other projects since. He has worked as a musician, songwriter, singer, DJ, home recorder, remixer, producer, sound designer, live sound technician, composer, and as a studio engineer. With a passion for how sound works and how things tick (with an affinity for knobs and switches), Zachary engages and excites the aural palate using sonics, textures, and rhythm. With a variety of programs and instruments, from acoustic to electronic (and analog to digital), he works to delve into the world of sound from every direction.
